surveying and setting out, levelling, total stations, coordinates,
AutoCAD, etc.
My qualifications are MQB Mine Surveyor's
Certificate, Masters Degree, (in post compulsory education and training), and
Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

"PENHC" produces a text file formatted as :-

"As-Built" produces a text file formatted as:

The design coordinates must be in the instrument before the site
activity begins
Both setting out and as-built activities use the pre-setting
and setting out programmes resident in the instrument
Do not use the surveying programme!
In both cases, once the target is correctly located, (setting
out), or correctly sighted and measured, (as-built), press the "
record"
button and view the DE, DN, DH screen to see the results.
If these residuals are acceptable proceed to the next point,
else repeat the previous
This procedure confirms in the field that the work has been done
correctly, and the file transferred to the PC provides a record that this was
so.
The file also contains the date and time of the activity and the
instrument number.
